Why should we care?

This tool allows you to break into the holding structure, distribution of workspaces (macro concentration?), and competitive landscape regarding publicly listed companies.

Which companies report such data?

Business intelligence is very heterogeneous. It highly depends on the type of information and the size of the corporation.

How often do you update the data?

Palmy updates subsidiary entries on an irregular basis. If we see an Exhibit 21, we extract it—if there is none, Palmy won't update any data.

What’s the data source?

It varies. For subsidiaries and holding structures, we use the SEC (Exhibit 21, to be exact). Competitors/peer groups are sourced from FinancialModelingPrep. Corporate locations are an aggregated result of our subsidiaries dataset and manual inputs.

Can I rely on your data?

Yes. Our machines extract the workspace locations and subsidiaries as reported. It is also very easy to fact-check our reported data.

Can I scrape this data?

No. You can either use the PRO download or the API for retrieving all subsidiaries.
